Maxine M Landry

Maxine Landry,103, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on April 26,2024.

Maxine was born to Cornelius and Hester Philips on January 24. 1921 in Butler TN.  She married Arthur Landry in 1945.  Maxine served in the office of the Secretary of Defense for many years.  She and Arthur retired and moved to Cape Coral in 1975.

Maxine is survived by her son, Robert A Landry Sr of Cape Coral Fl.  Also survived by her brother Aubrey “Tex” Philips of Butler TN, grandchildren Robert A Landry Jr and spouse Melody of Ft Smith AR, Brian Landry of Cape Coral FL, Kristen Landry of Cape Coral FL, and great grandsons Brandon Landry PHD of Atlanta GA, Joshua Landry of Ft Smith AR, one great, great grandson and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

Maxine is predeceased by her spouse, parents and brothers-Elmer, Dayton, Ernest, Charlie, Thomas, and CC and her sisters- Irene and Judy.

Maxine loved the Lord and was a communicant of The Epiphany Episcopal Church in Cape Coral FL.

Visitation will be May 2, 2024 from 10 to 11 a.m. and services will follow at 11 a.m.  at the Fuller Metz Funeral Home in Cape Coral FL.

Interment will be in Happy Valley Memorial Cemetery in Johnson City TN at the convenience of the family.
